First of all, thank you for your support, encouragement, and suggestions. aPS3e is an Android PS3 emulator based on RPCS3. We deeply respect RPCS3 and all its contributors, as aPS3e would not exist without the groundbreaking work of the RPCS3 team. Due to our unfamiliarity with the GPLv2 license, we previously made some incorrect statements. Please rest assured that aPS3e will always remain free and open-source.
However, aPS3e is currently in a very early and incomplete stage, lacking even basic elements like an icon or interface design. We need to gather user feedback for debugging and further development. Once the user experience stabilizes, we will publicly release the source code. Our commitment stands firm, and we may even release the code ahead of schedule. However, we are concerned that premature disclosure could lead to unofficial builds containing malicious code, potentially harming users. Therefore, we kindly ask for your patience as we continue refining the project.
To this end, aPS3e will enter a closed testing phase. Users interested in participating in the beta test can join via the following platforms: **Reddit, Discord, WeChat, or QQ**. We will periodically distribute non-public beta versions through these channels, completely free of charge.

Any fix for the download bugs? Pkg files won’t install for me and some games don’t fully install (tried LittleBigPlanet and PvZ Garden Warfare) and others won’t even start installing (LittleBigPlanet 2)

Make it so android 15 can add the firmware because I’m on android 15 and I can’t add the firmware

If firmware isn’t installing, try creating a “dev_flash” folder in the “aps3e/config” folder then try installing the firmware again

It crashes when trying to install .iso files i tried Assassin’s creed rogue on galaxy s23 se and the application crashes when I select the iso in the built in file Explorer for your emulator there’s a lot of hype around your project I hope to see it work.

Honestly, they are on the right track, they have to correct some errors and add several things, but I understand that it is still an early stage, be constant and everything will come, especially with wisdom and without greed.

Hello i have a simple problem
I tried Minevraft Ps3 edition it worked with great FPS in menu but i have two problem:
1.the game is not unlocked
2.when i enter a world it stays at loading forver
POCO X6 5G
Snapdragon 7s gen 2
Android 14
12 GB RAM

Portal 2 starts, but a floating red exclamation icon with an yellow triangle appears after starting and can’t progress after that…

Hi, I have some games that have to be installed as trial and unlock. The trial installs but the unlock doesn’t, which only allows me to play the demo. Is this a bug or something you haven’t implemented yet?
Also, is there a way to set the language of the ps3 firmware? The default is mandarin (?) and I would like to set it to English.
